Dekosan Impregnating Stain from ZERO is a wood-protecting primer and decorative weather protection in one for exterior wood. The stain has a preventative effect against blue stain and mold and protects raw wood in particular from UV rays and the effects of the weather. The wood stain dries quickly and is highly transparent. The glaze can be used in combination with both the professional and long-term glaze from ZERO and is available in 8 shades as well as a colorless version.
The substrate must be clean, dry and sound. Completely remove non-load-bearing old paint and grayed wood. Replace damaged wood. Leach or matt sand sound old coating. Wash out wood containing oil and resin with nitro thinner. Impregnate new wood or sanded wood areas. Only use the impregnating glaze for the primer, intermediate and top coat on dimensionally stable and non-dimensionally stable wood. For wood with limited dimensional stability, apply a primer coat with Impregnating Glaze and intermediate and top coats with ZERO Profile Glaze.
