LECO-Compact is a cellulose non-woven with textile fine fibres, acrylate-based binders and white pigmentation. It is suitable as a wall covering for safely covering smooth wall surfaces and as an improved paint carrier for creative designs, thanks to its very good paint absorption. In addition, the non-woven creates smooth, even substrates with good substrate coverage, which usually means that only one coat is needed.
Processing:
The substrate must be dry, of the same colour, clean and load-bearing. Remove old wallpaper and water-swellable coatings beforehand. Fill cracks, joints and unevenness with gypsum-based levelling compounds. Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates with deep primer. The smooth non-woven is wallpapered with non-woven adhesive like a normal non-woven wallpaper. After drying, paint over with dispersion, latex or acrylic paints, as desired and depending on the load.
