McPaint Premium interior paint Wall paint white matt 5 l
High-quality premium white wall and ceiling paint from McPaint for interior design. The wall paint is easy to apply, has low splatter and is particularly opaque. The white paint is also highly durable and very easy to clean. The interior wall paint is ideal for new coats as well as renovation coats in all living spaces. It can be applied to normal to heavily soiled surfaces and also to coloured surfaces. If required, the matt premium white can be tinted with solid and tinting colours. For perfect painting results, moisten the paint roller slightly with water before use to ensure even paint absorption and release. When using a paint sprayer, the paint should be diluted to spray viscosity. Depending on the performance of the sprayer, add 10 €" 20% water. Otherwise, the paint is ready to use and only needs to be stirred well before use.
Suitable substrates are woodchip wallpaper, non-woven wallpaper, paper wallpaper and vinyl wallpaper; plaster, concrete and plasterboard (after priming); existing wall paint coats and plastic plasters.
Substrate preparation To ensure secure adhesion and a perfect finish, prepare the substrate as described below.
The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease, firm and stable.
Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates (usually untreated plaster and concrete surfaces, masonry or plasterboard) with deep penetrating primer. You can recognise absorbent substrates by the fact that they turn dark in colour on contact with a damp sponge or cloth.
Fill cracks, holes or other imperfections with a suitable levelling compound.
Remove peeling and chalking old paint, distemper and non-adherent wallpaper without leaving any residue and wash thoroughly with clean water, then pre-treat as for absorbent substrates.
Stubborn stains (e.g. caused by water, grease, nicotine, soot, etc.) should be painted over with a special insulating and sealing primer to prevent these stains from penetrating later.
In the case of superficial mould infestation on walls and ceilings, first brush off the mould and then treat with a mould remover.
Lightly sand glossy emulsion paints or pre-treat with a leaching agent.
Allow new plasters to dry for at least 4 weeks.
The drying time depends on the condition of the substrate, ambient temperature, air humidity and application thickness. However, guide values are: surface dry after approx. 2-4 hours, recoatable after approx. 4-6 hours.
