McPaint white exterior silicone paint with long-term protection 5l

Facade paint for a new shine on your exterior walls with long-term protection. The high-performance façade white is a weather-resistant façade paint with high coverage and powerful opacity. The promise is long-term protection of up to 10 years (more information in the info download). The silicone-enhanced formula is water-repellent and has a protective effect against algae, fungal and moss infestation. The façade paint is resistant to UV, exhaust fumes, alkalis and saponification and is highly breathable and permeable to water vapour. For a coloured façade, the product can be mixed with up to 10% full and tinted paint without changing the product properties.

Application: High-quality coatings for all façades and exterior masonry with light to normal soiling as a new coat and renovation coat. For good paint absorption and colour release, moisten the paint roller slightly with water at the start. The paint is ready to use, but must be stirred well before use. When using a paint sprayer, dilute the paint with 10 - 20% water. The exact amount of water to be added depends on the capacity of the sprayer. You should not paint your façades in direct sunlight or on very hot days, as drying too quickly will also result in visible marks.

Substrate: Plaster, concrete and masonry (after priming), old emulsion-based paint coats. Not suitable for elastic old coatings.

Surface preparation for secure adhesion and a perfect finish:

  • The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, firm and stable.
  • Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates (usually untreated plaster and concrete surfaces, masonry) with deep penetrating primer. You can recognise absorbent substrates by the fact that they turn a dark colour when tested with a damp sponge or cloth.
  • Fill cracks, holes or other imperfections with a suitable levelling compound.
  • Remove peeling and chalking old coats of paint, lime paint coats and non-adherent distemper coats without leaving any residue and treat with acrylic facade primer.
  • Remove stubborn stains (e.g. caused by water, efflorescence or rust etc.) professionally. Paint over residues with a special insulating and sealing primer. This will prevent these stains from penetrating later.
  • Thoroughly clean surfaces infested with fungi and algae and then treat with a green film or mould remover.
  • Allow new plasters to dry for at least 4 weeks.

Drying time (depending on substrate and environment):
Surface dry after approx. 6 h
Can be painted over after approx. 12 h
Fully loadable after approx. 3 days
