The garage floor coating from Wilckens is a high-quality special floor coating for mineral surfaces with high abrasion resistance. It has good resistance to many chemical attacks and is therefore particularly suitable for normally used floor surfaces made of concrete and screed, such as garages, warehouses and industrial halls, basements and balconies, indoors and outdoors. In addition, the Wilckens garage floor coating is water and weather resistant and is characterized by its excellent alkali resistance.
Please note: Please read and follow the label carefully before use the danger and safety instructions. The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease, stable and absorbent. No rising moisture may penetrate into the subsurface. Remove grease and oily contamination with mineral spirits or cold cleaner. Loose and separating substances such as cement slurry and sinter layers must be removed mechanically. Concrete and screed surfaces must be allowed to set for one month. Remove unstable old coatings with paint stripper. Mechanically roughen smooth surfaces. Outdoors, moss and algae must be removed from the surface using a high-pressure cleaner and then allowed to dry thoroughly. Holes and shallow depressions can be leveled and painted over with cement, filler or mortar. When processing several containers, ensure that the batches are the same!
1. Coating structure on concrete and screed, inside and outside
a) Prepare the substrate accordingly
b) 1 x prime with 2K adhesion promoter
c) 2 - 3 coats of undiluted garage floor coating after approx. 24 each Hours
2. Paint structure on old paint or renovation paint
a) Check old paint for load-bearing capacity
b) Prepare the surface accordingly, stain out any defects
c) Prime 1 x with 2K adhesion promoter
d) 1 - 2 Coats with garage floor coating undiluted after approx. 24 hours.
