The smoothing and filling filler from Pufas is a cellulose-reinforced gypsum filler for interior use, which is ideal for smoothing and filling large areas. The filler can be used on all mineral substrates - such as plaster, concrete, aerated concrete, stone, etc. - as well as for grouting plasterboard. In addition, the smoothing filler has good filling power for cracks, holes and joints and is easy to sand.
The substrate must be dry, stable and free of separating agents (dust, formwork oil, etc.). Highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates as well as cut edges of plasterboard or sanded surfaces must be primed with Deep Primer. The powder is sprinkled into clear cold water (mixing ratio 1.8 - 2 parts powder to 1 part water) and stirred vigorously to produce a lump-free mortar. After 2 - 3 minutes, the levelling compound can be applied with a spatula or trowel. Small irregularities can be removed with a wet sponge board before complete hardening. The levelled surface can be sanded after it has dried completely. In order to avoid uneven drying of subsequent coats during repair work, it may be necessary to prime the repaired areas or even the entire surface with deep penetrating primer. The filler should be applied within 60 minutes. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
