PUFAS Construction Adhesive K15 is ideal for bonding smooth and non-absorbent materials such as metal, mirrors, glazed tiles, PVC, wood, glass, ceramics, polystyrene, cork, stone, plaster, painted surfaces and many plastics. Suitable for heavy-duty bonding of mirrors, skirting boards, cable ducts, heavy rigid foam profiles, etc. Not suitable for bonding polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon, on bitumen substrates and for bonding in standing or pressing water. Cannot be used as a sealing material (such as acrylic, silicone, etc.). For this purpose we recommend PUFAS Acrylic Joint Sealant A 30 or PUFAS Silicone Joint Sealant S25.
Processing
Apply PUFAS Construction Adhesive K15 to the substrate in a line at a distance of approx. 10 cm and press on the parts to be bonded before the skin forms (within 10 minutes). To ensure adequate ventilation of the adhesive, the adhesive strands must not flow together to form a single surface on non-absorbent materials. Cure 2 mm per day at +23 °C and 55% relative humidity. Fix heavy parts for at least 48 hours.
Advice
Do not process below +5 °C object and room temperature. Remove adhesive residues immediately with a cloth. MS polymers may yellow in the dark. Not suitable for full-surface bonding. Contains reaction mass of bis (1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4piperidyl)-sebacate and methyl-1,2,2,6,6-pentymethyl-4piperidyl-sebacate, 3- (2-aminoethylamino) propyltrimethoxysilane, N- [3- (dimethoxymethylsilyl) propyl]ethylenediamine, dioctyltinbis (acetylacetonate). May cause allergic reactions.
