Thanks to its versatile properties, the white synthetic resin-modified and fibre-reinforced gypsum filler Pufamur S 60 easy is ideal for smoothing the entire surface of walls and ceilings, closing joints in prefabricated concrete elements and filling cracks and holes. It is also the ideal choice for grouting and filling tension-free drywall panels in surface qualities Q1 to Q4. The filler can be used on mineral substrates, such as cement plaster, gypsum plaster, concrete, aerated concrete and masonry, as well as on plasterboard, gypsum fibre and cement fibre-reinforced drywall in accordance with EN 13963. After drying, the filler has excellent sanding properties and is open to water vapour diffusion.
The substrate must be dry, stable and free of separating agents (dust, formwork oil, etc.). Highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates as well as cut edges of plasterboard or sanded surfaces must be primed with a deep penetrating primer. A primer containing quartz is required for non-absorbent, smooth or dense substrates. In a mixing ratio of 2:1 (e.g. 1 kg powder to 600 ml water), the powder is stirred vigorously with cold, clear water to produce a lump-free levelling compound. After approx. 3 minutes, stir the levelling compound again briefly. The levelling compound should be applied within 60 minutes. Depending on the application thickness, ambient conditions and building moisture, the drying time is approx. 24 hours - in unfavourable conditions, the drying time may be extended accordingly.
Consumption:
approx. 1 kg powder for 1 m² at 1 mm application thickness
