SchimmelX wall and ceiling paint white is a solvent-free special paint with film preservation for long-term protection of the paint film against mould infestation. The solvent-free and scrub-resistant interior paint is ideal for use on substrates such as plaster, stone or concrete, but also on paintable (woodchip) wallpaper, existing emulsion paints, polystyrene ceiling panels or plasterboard. It has a particularly high covering power and offers long-lasting protection against fungal attack. This interior dispersion paint ensures an even and streak-free result. The drying time is 6 to 8 hours, depending on the room temperature, humidity and absorbency of the substrate.
First remove any existing mould on the substrate to be painted with Mould Remover. On substrates or surfaces with residual moisture, apply a primer coat with a moisture blocker. The substrate must be stable, dry and free of dust, grease and release agents. The paint can be applied with a roller or brush. For the base coat, the paint can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water. The base coat must be completely dry before the top coat is applied. For a coloured coat, the paint can be tinted with a maximum of 5% full-tone and tinting paint or a maximum of 0.2% tinting concentrate. Clean the tools with water immediately after use.
Consumption:
approx. 150 - 200 ml/m² | Sufficient for an area of approx. 30 m²
