The weatherproof wood cover colours of Wilckens in swedish red, dove blue (RAL 5014), deciduous green (RAL 6002), moss green (RAL 6005), anthracite grey (RAL 7016), chocolate brown (RAL 8017) or pure white (RAL 9010) are easy to process , quick-drying, satin-gloss wood finish with high opacity for outdoor and indoor use. Particularly suitable as a new and renovation paint on all kinds of wood such. Wooden houses, trusses, wood cladding, shingles, shutters, fences, pergolas and also for zinc sheets, gutters, plaster and plastics (for example, on hard PVC downpipes) suitable. The weatherproofing paint is solvent-poor and dilutable with water, permanently elastic and has a good weather resistance (light and weather resistant, UV-stable) with moisture-regulating effect.
Processing advise: Please read the product labeling carefully before you use this product and follow the dangers and safety instructions.
1. Paint build-up on wood, inside and outside as well as concrete and plaster
a) Prepare the subfloor accordingly, if necessary solidify concrete and plaster
b) Prime raw wood externally with wood primer (blue stain protection), for deciduous woods with colouring water-soluble wood components and pressure-impregnated woods, the impregnation with wood primer colourless may be omitted
c) 1 - 2 coats of weatherproof insulating primer for staining woods
d) primer coat diluted with up to 10 % water
e) Apply the top coat undiluted
2. Paint build-up on metal (iron) and galvanized surfaces, plastic parts
a) Prepare the substrate accordingly
b) Before painting, rub non-weathered zinc sheet with diluted ammonia solution using a non-woven sponge until foam is formed
c) 1 - 2 coats with anticorrosive primer, rust proof metal primer or 2in1 rust primer
d) Pre-prim plastic parts with Universal Primer
e) 1 - 2 coats with weather protection paint undiluted
3. Paint build-up on old paint coats or renovation paint coats
a) Prepare the substrate accordingly
b) 1 - 2 coats with weather protection paint undiluted
Danger/Caution: Wood preservativesP2 for grinding work. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after processing and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, water courses or soil. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection. The usual protective measures must also be observed when applying low-pollutant paints. Please secure this container against falling over and leaking during transport. If medical advice is required, have the packaging or identification label ready. Keep out of the reach of children.
The drying time depends on the substrate (at 20°C, 65% rel. humidity):
Lower temperatures and higher humidity increase the drying time!
