Due to its properties, the fibreglass can be used in a variety of ways and is quick and easy to process. It is excellently suited for the object sector and heavily used areas. The pre-coated wallpaper is also impact-resistant, crack-bridging, dimensionally stable, wet-stable and rot-proof. The wallpaper has a texture reminiscent of coarsely linked fabric. Despite its pre-primed design, which saves paint and time, the wallpaper can be individually painted over. Furthermore, it is free of PVC, solvents and plasticizers.
The surface must be dry, the same colour, clean and stable. Remove old wallpaper and water-swellable paint. Cracks, joints and unevenness are to be leveled professionally with gypsum-based filler. Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates with deep primer. Use fibreglass adhesive to attach. Cut strips to the required length, adding 5 - 10 cm to compensate for the top and bottom edges. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate in a width of 1 - 2 strips with a lambskin roller. Lay the cut sheet into the still wet adhesive bed and press down with a wallpapering spatula or a wallpapering roller without bubbles. Glue the subsequent lengths butt together. Cut off excess. After drying, the wallpaper can be painted over with dispersion, latex or acrylic paints. After painting any protruding fibers should be sanded down.
