Due to their properties, fiberglass wallpapers are versatile and can be processed quickly and easily. They are perfect for contract areas and heavily used areas. The fiberglass wallpapers are also impact-resistant, crack-bridging, dimensionally stable, wet-stable and rot-proof. The wallpaper has a texture that looks similar to interlinked fabric. Despite the color and time-saving pre-priming, the wallpaper can be individually painted over after it has been attached. In addition, it contains no PVC, no solvents or plasticizers.
The surface should be dry, colour-matched, clean and stable. Remove old wallpaper and water-swelling paint. Cracks, seams and unevenness should be professionally leveled with a gypsum-based filler. Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates with deep primer. Fix with fiberglass glue. Cut strips to the required length, adding 5 - 10 cm to compensate for the top and bottom edges. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate in a width of 1 - 2 strips with a lambskin roller. Lay the cut sheet into the still wet adhesive bed and press down with a wallpapering spatula or a wallpapering roller without bubbles. Glue the subsequent lengths butt together. Cut off the excess. After drying, the wallpaper can be painted over with dispersion, latex or acrylic paint. After painting, the protruding fibers must be sanded.
