The specially finished, mineral filler glass veil from LECO is suitable for reinforcing paint systems for plaster surface cracks indoors and outdoors. The glass veil is crack-bridging, dimensionally stable, wet-stable and rot-proof.
Pre-treat the substrate to be reinforced accordingly. Use dispersion paints or dispersion adhesive to attach the glass veil. Cut the strips to the required length, adding 5 - 10 cm to compensate for the top and bottom edges. Apply the paint or adhesive generously and evenly to the substrate in a width of 1 - 2 strips. Lay the cut strip in the still wet ink/adhesive bed with an overlap of approx. 5 cm and press down with a wallpapering spatula or a wallpapering roller so that there are no bubbles. The double-seam cutting method is to be used. Then apply the embedding material again smoothly.
